But in the end, is Bruce like our own Little Tony? An "artist" life spent imitating others?

VincVega, congrats on your legendary Nick. Are you a Tarantino fan too?

If puntiniCAZ wants Gio's poster, I want his in my little room alongside Bruce getting kicked in the ass. I'm also very allergic to the Boss and I join the Pollack Fan Club. I want the T-shirt strictly in black with white lettering. Reading this review with all the comments put me in a good mood. I've already shared it with dozens of friends...

Well Grass, I started listening to the Doors in seventh grade and, doing the math, it's been over thirteen years since I first heard them. If we also consider that for years I stuck solely to their albums, my knowledge of their music has grown exponentially year by year. You must really like them too, considering the reviews... :-)

A solid 5 for the courage shown in reviewing a masterpiece like this. Certainly one of the best records ever created on planet Earth.

Best album of the year 2004? Come on, this is a joke, right? The flattery towards Berlusca and the worst CD of 2004...

Well... I really think so. Every single song brings to mind some memory from my adolescence (a bit wild, you could say). So I would also give a 5 to The Soft Parade for sentimental reasons. I must also say, though, that I love the title track; it's beautiful to listen to at high volume. I agree that the album is musically below all the others. My ranking would be as follows: 1) The Doors; 2) Strange Days & L.A. Woman; 3) Morrison Hotel; 4) Waiting For The Sun; 5) The Soft Parade.

Congratulations on the review. Beautiful and impactful, although I would have conceived it differently, focusing more on what Morrison was experiencing at the time. As you can see from my nickname, the Doors are my favorite band, so my judgments might be biased (I would give 5 to all the albums). I want to be objective, though: 4.5 for the album because it is undoubtedly a bit underwhelming compared to the two previous ones. Waiting for the sun is the transition. The cosmic void of Morrison.
