Pink Floyd Pulse - DVD

Well, it almost feels like a festival celebrating the pastiche here. What would be the highlights included in the DVD? Are there any reinterpreted tracks or is there more? A few notes: after the commercial success of Division, the Floyd did something very sensible by separating, who knows where they would have ended up, maybe at the level of the Rolling Stones. Pathetic. The sequence of tracks proposed here has been the same for years; once you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all, essentially a recreation of Wish and TDSOTM that is almost identical to the studio versions—you can hardly hear the difference. Roger, the historic bassist, well, he was much more than that; it feels very reductive the way he is framed, and it sounds like a huge sacrilege to compare PULSE to the historical value of Pompeii, which, by the way, represents the "death" of early Floyd. 3, there was the flashing light that was scattered, so the 3 fits in wonderfully.

@Aniel: don't be afraid to try; it could be a missed opportunity. Maybe you won't like it, but at least you made your attempt. @Frantz: I reiterate the same concept I expressed to Cleo and I endorse yours regarding the cellist :D You're right, a bit one-note, but that's simply the band's intent — a mystical album without resorting to a thousand overlapping notes to achieve an effect. One note, just one: but in the right place. It makes everything more intimate. @Sfascia: it's an album sung mostly in Palestinian, with very sweet, delicate sounds. Violins, keyboards, percussion. A really great work. @hugo: hasta la vista.

What the hell does it have to do with it? If I played, I would understand you too, but since I'm just attending, I don't see the connection... Exactly. Come on, send me an email and stop acting like a lady. :D

It's not about easy-not easy, otherwise I wouldn't listen to much of the music I do that doesn't make you want to go to the bathroom even though I love you. Is it true that Mouse on Mars are in Bari? Or is it just a nonsense in the underground?

I care about you, but sometimes you review stuff that I wouldn't even listen to in the bathroom. Still, I care about you. The thing is, it’s music I don’t like, even though the affection I have for you should inspire me a bit, but I wouldn't listen to it even in the bathroom.

@Cleo: I believe I know exactly why you made that statement! @Punisher: okay, we've already talked about it in chat, so it seems unnecessary to ask you for your reasons. I think Battiato's influence (always very close to the band's projects) is more felt in "Centro del mundo" than in this album. Of course, your point of view remains absolutely valid. @aniel: your musical tastes don't include albums of this kind. Why not make an exception? - Now I wait for sfascia's intervention, punctual and ever-present.
