Oh right... I forgot that there was also the DVD. Although I read a review and from the opinion I gathered, it seems to be made pretty poorly. Ian Gillan - Recensione: Gillan's Inn (CD/DVD) - Metallus.it Anyway, it's not cheap... neither is Dio's CD. I would suggest you the DVD "Evil Or Divine". At least for about the same price, you also get the video.

Is 20¤ a reasonable price????

I haven't heard "Gillan's Inn" yet because I'm always very skeptical about compilations and greatest hits. However, this one boasts some special guest appearances, so maybe I'll give it a listen. As for the Rainbow and Turner discussion, I'd be a bit reluctant to listen to new work with Joe Lynn, as I'm not a big fan of him as a singer. Thanks for the compliments. Tonight I'll go for a stroll around the forum.

I can hardly believe it after the fight that Blackmore had with God in 1978. But money can do anything...

Blackmore in Deep Purple again, I would say it's impossible. And honestly, I don’t even see the point. I believe he has closed that chapter with Deep Purple and doesn’t need new chapters for Mark II.
As for the Rainbow discussion, I agree with you on "Stranger In Us All." Watching the live performance at Rockpalast brings regrets because you probably won't see him again with the Strat ready to give his best with a setlist of Rainbow + Purple.
However, on the other hand, I think Blackmore's Night is an evolution. A way of playing something different that he had "never" done before. So I would be happier if he remained with Blackmore's Night until the end of his career. It would show more consistency. I also don’t think he needs all this money to return to Purple...

I wasn't even aware of Blackmore's son... However, I definitely follow Blackmore's Night! Let's say I'm only missing the last one to listen to, but I've already heard the version of "Child In Time," which I'm not too keen on.

I'm watching some videos right now and I have to admit that Malmsteen styled himself (even the same haircut) like Blackmore. They're not bad at all. I even commented on your review, it seems to me... anyway, I think I'll get something for myself;-)
I also saw the song that gave your nickname. There's Vai on guitar in that one. I'd say that Alcatrazz owe a lot to Rainbow.
x savopardo: I already have The Cage somewhere. When I have some time, I'll listen to them;- )

Yeah, let’s say I’ve worn out quite a bit of the discography, so I’m pretty well-versed on the topic. Thanks for the comment.
