Damn, I read some comments that made my hair stand on end! Okay people, I get that this might not be your style or you might just hate them, but if that's the case, specify it and then just drop it, enough... However, it’s impossible (even objectively) not to acknowledge the quality and originality of this band... and this album, too... pure sensations, energy, paranoid dreams, anger, and disillusioned sweetness delivered with a passionate mastery that has few rivals... no doubt!

ah! the vote for the record...

I believe that only those who have had experiences similar to those of the members of this band (and in particular of Godano) can fully understand the significance of both the lyrics and their wonderfully cohesive melodies... Godano's unique, cryptic yet also explicit way of expressing himself is as fascinating as their melodies, and this CD is in its own way another masterpiece by MK, even if a bit of distance from the legendary "catartica" and "il vile" is felt.
Bob Marley & The Wailers Babylon By Bus

Damn right! An inspired and inspiring review... what about the live show? After years of reggae overload, this "Babylon by Bus" is the only CD of the genre that still (and often) has space in my stereo... it's impossible not to get swept away, and for those of us not so young anymore, it will evoke some great memories!
DJ Shadow The Private Press
Voto:
Just a hair "below" its predecessor (if I really must make a comparison)... but why should I compare them??? "The Private Press" is another great CD to listen to and re-listen to, vast and nothing short of enjoyable and captivating... a 4/5
DJ Shadow Endtroducing....

What a class DJ this is (it's reductive to define him that way though ;)!! Entroducing captivates you every time you listen to it, every time with different nuances and infinite listening perspectives... it's one of those albums that rewards you for all those sweaty searches for psych-emotional sound fulfillment... A MUST!
Almamegretta Animamigrante
Voto:
Thank goodness there are still groups like Almamegretta in Italy that, despite some shifts in trends and genres, have always skillfully produced good and original stuff... their first complete album is an example of this and, in my opinion, it remains the best... roooooots!

What a beautiful ciddì guys! Intense, engaging, energetic, heartfelt... in fact, I'm going to put it back on right away :D
The review is great too.
The Chemical Brothers Dig Your Own Hole

I don't have a favorite CD of theirs over the others; they're all beautiful in their own way. At the time, it was a major release and it’s still enjoyable to listen to many years later... a 4/5 anyway.
Medeski Martin & Wood Uninvisible

Strange, because even after listening to this album several times, aside from those 3-4 really nice tracks, the rest didn't manage to engage me enough to get attached to it... maybe some excessive dissonance and a lack of spatiality and depth... who knows!
