He is right about everything; the movie sucks because ITALIAN CINEMA TODAY SUCKS, the sooner we understand it the better. 30 or 40 years ago there were great comedies, Totò, Gasmman, Tognazzi, Sordi, Chiari, etc. Today Italian cinema represents CHEATING, starting with Muccino, and continuing with these imitators of a genre that is dead and buried. Finally, Mediaset is a private company; it can do whatever the hell it wants; my problem is with Rai (a public company, funded with our money) that doesn’t have the guts to air a film by Antonioni or Bergman in prime time. And it keeps offering us, for the umpteenth time, Gone with the Wind or Sissi. I’m fed up with this Rai and this cinema.

So, do you say anything about the album? Basically, you just criticize Corgan for going back on his word, but fundamentally you don’t say a damn thing about the album. It's a pretentious and completely misguided take. You should have talked about the album and said WHAT you don't like, the SONGS you don’t like, etc. etc.

Beautiful review! Well done! I wish I could have been there too. Anyway, the last two albums without Oliveri are "great albums" also because the Qotsa have never remained the same, always trying to vary their sound. I agree with you, one of the best rock bands around. I give it a 5 out of trust.

Mediocre director?? Come on, he has worked with the greatest post-modern directors! Excluding the pathetic Ocean's trilogy, he's always made good films, except for a few other duds.
