Necessary digression on Battisti: If I have to judge him as an artist based on his musical abilities and the attitude he displayed throughout his career, I wouldn't go beyond 3/5. My interest in him was "planted" by my father, who has been listening to him on repeat since I was three (he still does). Comparing him to the lyrics and music expressed by De Andrè, I realize I have objectively said something stupid. I hope and I'm sure most will understand...
