Living Colour Stain

"Stain is a raw and naked stab at victimhood and passivity" (Iko). "It's freedom made music, devoid of any political, social, and moral influence. And consequently confused, hysterical, and sad." (Scott). Congratulations, truly a great review, not long at all and incredibly readable.

Wow. Not a bad wake-up this morning: fresh releases from "Belle and Sebastian" and "My Bloody Valentine". The 5 would be enough just for that "If Van Gogh had been a rocker, he would have sounded like this"...

After a hundred plays on my player, they still excite me just like the first time. As for reviews and the like, I share Hal's same opinion.

I fully agree. Truly one of the best indie releases.

I don’t completely agree with the comments made so far. It’s true that they were a band of sellouts, heroin addicts, and that they didn’t invent anything new. However, one cannot help but tip their hat to the technical and musical level achieved in some of their songs. This album may not deserve 5/5, but to say that the entire production of Queen is at a mediocre level is quite a stretch…
