I have the latest one and I'm not really into it... I'll listen to it again... even though I expected more from Elvenking.

about the latest epic interview with Lucotto on Rock Hard... anyway, I will soon publish the review of Luchino's Dreamquest (I’d say a 4 is deserved?)

spreka... I start by accepting your criticism, but I want to clarify one thing. I didn't like the album (compared to all of Turilli's other works), but objectively I believe a 7 might be deserved. You can indeed see Turilli's desire to break free from the stereotype he had become, to renew his sound, to challenge himself (by composing the orchestral, guitar, and keyboard parts), and even if he doesn't always succeed, some ideas are undoubtedly good. Here the ratings go from 1 to 5 (really..) and therefore a 7 (on a scale from 1 to 10) would be equivalent to a 3.5, which I have to round up to either 3 or 4. I gave it a 4 simply because Turilli is an artist I hold in very high regard, and since this is the first time he has missed the mark, I remain calm and hopeful... It seems very superficial to base everything solely on the number of stars, without carefully reading the review... oh and then "disquo" is a "deliberate mistake," giving it a more conversational tone and a more "wreckage" vibe...

I made a mistake in my vote... which being two, I average with this one.

I don’t like it much, although I admit I haven’t listened to it all the way through... absolutely worn out... the singing might be nice, but not for me.

Your criticism is one of absurd superficiality; I also have the entire discography of Turilli (including the good Luca Turilli's Dreamquest) and of Rhapsody, as well as special editions (of course original), so I am more than capable of making comparisons. I've tried to be as objective as possible, but if I end up being subjective while explaining my choices, even better—Debaser reviews are great for that reason. The CD in question, for me, meets the minimum standard... the reasons are clearly explained in the review.

No, I don’t think it’s that tacky; it’s very ambitious. Turilli changes, in my opinion, everything that made him "tacky": the ultra speed, the choruses that stick in your mind after one listen, the sweeping solos, and above all, the sunny, pompous, and why not, even childish atmosphere that characterized every one of his works... (then strangely, his work results in different elements that are equally tacky).. As I said, I don’t really like the new Turilli (my 4 mainly refers to the character; I would still give the album a passing grade), but this may not be true for many people who will indeed find a new little Luchino who has finally distanced himself from Rhapsody but is still recognizable.

editor... it has nothing to do with it, but I have to tell you now... my email is panzerpanzer6@hotmail.it (as it has been for my last 3 reviews) and no longer angelinavasich@hotmail.it as it was for my first review... now, if I want to write a review (and I do!!) I am automatically logged in with the old email that no longer exists... can you change my email to the new one and place the review (the one of the rhapsody) from the "old the panzer" among the reviews of the new the panzer????? thank you in advance.
