It's the classic solution.
Too bad that, perhaps, you will review albums that I would be interested in as well (although lately I haven't seen much that catches my attention...).
In the meantime, how about a few sessions with a psychoanalyst? Just 2 or 3 sessions would suffice, I assure you: it doesn't hurt and you would gain an enormous benefit. With unchanged affection.

To the teacher Kosmogabri (you said it yourself, proud to feel like Ms. Rottenmajer, not me), we now have the Bard ...damn..., who judges, dispenses, pontificates, acts, stirs things up, and feels like a god on Earth, puffed up by his cultural level that’s just slightly above average and not much else. What fundamentally annoys you is ONLY THE IDEA that someone doesn’t think like you (and admit it) or that (SACRILEGE!!!) they negatively comment on an album, maybe famous (can you imagine) that you like. Keep your ego in check, cazziniPUNTOcazzini, and give yourself a moderate break because we are here on DeBaser and NOT on a television show, as I gather you aspire to by quoting Mario Bianchi and making us all burst out laughing. Kosmo, deep down, you know I care about you...

Secondly, I HAVE NEVER REVIEWED either Metallica or John Coltrane (just to give you an idea of the reliability of Mr. puntiniTESTADIcazzpuntini (whom I am indeed judging right now without knowing personally and here, I might actually be wrong... yes, here...).

What does Kosmo mean? The records I review, I have them, I've listened to them and heard them more than once, so I KNOW what I'm talking about; maybe I don't KNOW (or I don't need to delve into) that XY played on track Z, while on the next track YZ played, and so on: a fact that, as is well known, you are extremely knowledgeable about and that is essential to your judgment of an album (?!). I don't agree with this.

The problem, dear Sfascia Carrozze, is not whether it's NICE or not to receive comments like that: the problem is understanding if there's any truth in what has been said (even though I understand it can be annoying, it can hurt, and sometimes it does hurt or something else). I absolutely don't have anything against you as a person, not at all. I'm just pointing out that when you asked me, "Do you enjoy receiving de-comments -like yours transcribed- similar?" that’s the only thing in completed Italian, "felt," NOT ARTIFICIAL, without verbal virtuosity that I've heard you write. It’s a coincidence. Try to reflect on it: No hard feelings.

The fact that you judge based on other people's opinions and haven't even read my reviews SAYS A LOT ABOUT WHO YOU ARE AND HOW YOU THINK, dear little sheep in the flock. First learn, then judge. I recommend: stay firmly anchored to your ideas, dotsHEADofbullshit, because the whole world will benefit from it.

Details: On Kosmog, there was a little spat about a post of Bjork reviewed by me last week...

Dear Cazzpuntini, when one says "cacca," everyone understands what it means. What I like is evident from everything I DON’T LIKE; I don’t need to make a GOOD or BAD list. The comparison is made by each person based on their own judgment standards and the number of albums they’ve listened to and digested (mine are quite a few, if that’s what you want…). When I criticize an album, I don’t just say "cacca," but I generally explain WHAT I don’t like and WHY (read the reviews again). Almost always. Unless something is so “cacca” that explaining the whys and hows feels like a futile and humiliating exercise even for those reading me. P.S. For the record, I have never reviewed TOTAL CACCA so far.

"casting yourself against the world of music criticism as if we were flooded with Mr. E covers on NME"?! I raised the question of the validity of the buy 2 pay 1 operation perhaps, and I say perhaps, because upstream someone knew about the difficulty of getting 40 bucks out of people, etc. and I talked about the wave of consensus that specialized music press generally has towards certain works, as if suddenly they all agreed (and on this EELS work there was a fundamental unanimity in calling it a Masterpiece, which I completely disagree with)... I said nothing more than this regarding the music press. Be careful what gets put in my mouth, okay? I might bite... ;-)

It is justified to the extent that I am ACTUALLY against a specific record. It would be different if I were indiscriminately against everything and everyone for the sake of it. What sense would that make? I don’t review every album I know, do I? I only review those that I consider Bufale, Pagliacciate, Prese per il culo, and so on. Nothing simpler, right? Clearly, I keep the ones I like to myself.
