Yes, great film and good review. However, there have been other equally beautiful war films that followed, such as "The Thin Red Line" or "Saving Private Ryan"... when it comes to the description of war and its implications, I fear it’s not easy to put the word "end," unfortunately...

At the top among the first comments, I wrote: "I liked the film. Not a masterpiece by any means, but the story of the frustration that overwhelms you when you spend too much time with a woman and you're on the verge of HAVING to make a forced choice but don’t want to give up other things... well, only those who have experienced this frustration can understand this film, which I reiterate is full of flaws and clichés but is definitely much better than a thousand other nonsense we’ve seen in Italian cinema. Giving it 2 stars is unfair and exaggerated."

Did it seem to you like "INSUDICIARE" this? And what does that mean, excuse me? Did you mistake this site for a middle school protocol sheet for neat writing? Here we talk, we discuss, we express opinions and, believe it or not, we can even not agree. Am I wrong?! No, tell me if I’m wrong, and then I’ll do a mea culpa and reconsider my positions. The spam (as you call it) I've done on 2/3 occasions when I wanted to point something out... wow, I didn't know I had people so attentive and obsessively following me on debaser...

xbjork86: I give a score of 3 to reviews that, for one reason or another, I don't like, simple, right? Should I be blamed for that?! Is my rating that important?! I don't think so, do you? And I didn't tell Dave "I give a 3 because there's no humor" referring to the review of Anime Salve... as usual, you generalize, take one detail and make it the center of a discussion or, worse, an accusation... wouldn't expect anything less from you.

Ugh, even here Mr. Know-it-all is making a mistake, you can't put FILM and MUSIC on the same scale, we agree, right? Meanwhile, if you had studied my work well, I "NEVER GIVE A DEFAULT 3" in reviews... it depends, often there are 1s flying around and even a few 4s (rarely 5s but they have happened). Tell me ONE of the Italian albums I harshly criticized that you believe deserves a high score (we're talking about ALBUMS, okay? not Artists...)... give me an example, otherwise we’re just wasting breath here... P.S. Nobody has ever described me as a "genius of reviews," in this case, you would be the first but frankly, that would seem a bit exaggerated, wouldn’t it?! :-)))
