But come on... I know, it was an easy provocation, you know I care about you :-))))

Well Hal...EVERYONE grows a little, I’m already different from who I was 6 months ago and I suppose you are too. I don’t think I’m “well-aligned” with any movement and if I am, it’s purely by chance. It’s easy to label people by putting them into “convenient containers,” but that’s a classification that doesn’t concern me and that I don’t share. As for the Church, I have opinions that are sharply opposed to those I express here...

... and isn't it that when it comes to movies you stay a bit out of touch and just indulge in the things that made your heart flutter as a teenager?! :-)))

No, look... I've already initiated a lawsuit against Radio Maria because they copied this review to promote the Family Day on May 12th :-))))

I, being a comic book lover, enjoyed it quite a bit even though at times it has some moments of fatigue... on an image level, it is A MASTERPIECE: even better than 300 :-))

...and then, excuse me, but I find it illogical and a bit silly to give a 1 to a review that, in my opinion, is written decently and analyzes the film quite well just because it expresses a "different" opinion from the herd. This means "negativizing" the entire review for one opinion, which I consider to be the behavior of "integralist fundamentalists" who can't separate the two things. I can overlook kookaboorra who must be a little foolish judging by past comments, but the others surprised me a bit (no hard feelings, okay?).

It's not a matter of choices that are limited to the "personal sphere"... if two people are playing around or are getting busy in a panic 69, it doesn't give me any problems, good for them. The situation gets a bit complicated when a sum of small choices starts to undermine the foundations of a society that has so far ensured its growth and development. A typical society based on gay couples having the same rights as a "traditional" family (with the possibility of adopting children, etc.) would necessarily diminish the latter and would dismantle (in a not-too-distant scenario) the continuation of the species itself, outlining future scenarios that, at the present moment, we CANNOT predict but can only sense as "not completely healthy." Well, this discussion would merit a dedicated blog on the subject, and this doesn't seem to be the most appropriate venue, it seems...

I join in: it sucks... I save some parts but for 20/30 seconds, the rest is out for me and a circus phenomenon for kids. A bit like the Kiss were for my generation (with all due proportions!).

Great review for a record that you've made me curious about. Keep it up, Hal :-)
