I leave technical reviews to the true professionals. I express my opinions, sometimes supporting them and sometimes not... there are VERY FEW reviews that motivate opinions on PENTAGRAMMATIC or strictly technical grounds (you know how boring it is to read reviews like that?!). But you, Bjorky, excuse me for asking, but did you get it or not that LestoBANG tends to have its own style (jokey, vulgar, excessive, showy, etc.) and Stronko has another (more measured, classic, serious, etc.) OR NOT YET?!? Because I’m starting to have this doubt…

On the "simple" I completely agree with Hal. On the "beautiful and fascinating," I don't.

I couldn’t care less about 1, 3, or 5 stars (I know by now that it’s not THIS kind of reviews that get many stars... have you ever seen a scathing review get 5 stars?!). A good arrangement is when the bass, guitar, and drums (in this case) sound CONVINCED and offer more original solutions than the average rock group... get and listen to the album GRINDERMAN (for example) and hear HOW those same three instruments sound... listen to WHAT they come up with in terms of sounds, listen to HOW Cave sings, feel the ENERGY that those songs exude... here it’s just like Kosmo says: there’s a tired woman singing these hits with little conviction (AND YOU CAN FEEL IT!!) and she even manages to make them WORSE (just look at the really bland Smells Like Teen Spirit that sounds like nothing done this way).

I did NOT "insult" Patti, who, as is well known, has descended into mediocrity multiple times (see some NOT excellent albums from the past). I did NOT say that "others are assholes"... I said that YOU here do not respect my opinion and do not respect the word given (and don’t pretend not to understand). Then, why do you go from judging a review - which is more than legitimate - to judging the reviewer? This is a mystery that even Fatima's is no match for. Are you mad at me?! My "numerous fakes," as you say, amount to the usual 5 (of which 3 are active, the other 2 dead and buried) that all Debaser fans know. I shouldn’t have to list them for the umpteenth time, right?! Come on... let’s move on with the discussion and not dwell on the past. FOR YOU THE REVIEW IS SHAMEFUL? Well, you said it (without fully explaining it) but THAT'S OK, thank you for your contribution. :-)

It was Greenaway himself who spoke of "plot as a pretext," and besides, if you see it, you'll understand perfectly what I mean...
