An album without infamy and without praise. The songs are nice (above all the title track Shine, a sort of Lennon-like "Imagine") but in the end, nothing new that hasn't been said already...

I liked the album before "the Seeger Sessions" for the nice down-home flavor of the performances, but this "return" to Americana Rock doesn't inspire me at all... I'll wait to hear what the critics have to say.
