I'm intrigued by "of course," but tackling almost 900 pages TODAY is no longer feasible due to time and availability issues. If I come across it at the stalls for €3, I'll grab it and read a few scattered chapters... I’ll try to understand how it's written as well... Great review!

Well... what sticks in my mind about this movie are the scenes where the guy is jerking off in his room, him killing his grandparents, him sleeping with his friend’s mom, and little else. I barely remember anything about the plot... The script was really poorly written.

It's really a shame that someone of Battiato's "ethical" stature (demonstrated throughout his artistic production) "stoops" to these operations where you can sense "apathy" and little engagement from the very first notes... :-(

Gifted to me a few days ago... I find it "awful" apart from a handful of scattered minutes here and there... Anontony's voice singing in Italian is a cartoonish and obscene thing... really poor tone from Franco, indeed :-(
