...and in fact, those "normalized" reviews are meant to CELEBRATE and SHARE the things I enjoy. The other review-style exercises were NOT RANDOMLY focused on improbable or truly awful albums, where it didn't matter to describe the content of the album; what was more important was the spark, the madness, and the anarchic absurdity of the things I wrote: pure PRETEXT and nothing more. Or do you perhaps think I actually "listened" to all those albums (Cristina d'Avena, Gigi D'Alessio, Stadio, etc.)???

"Being heavy, vulgar, and offensive" was part of a very specific "style." As you can see, I can easily write "normalized" reviews. But True Luxury is being able to choose HOW to write something specific. So I wanted to delve deeper into this (excess, vulgarity, arrogance as an "alternative path" and only on a literary level, which some have interpreted as "reality"... mah...). Anyway, you did NOT read those reviews carefully enough to say this, but NOW it's just water under the bridge...

...so what? Even if they were "self-destructive" (and then you can explain to me what it means for you), what's the harm in that?

The purpose of the site is: to write reviews that are hopefully well-written, not too original, grammatically correct, comprehensive, and cultured (if possible) etc. The typical things everyone normally asks for. Does it take much to understand this? I, however, am convinced that one could "dare" a bit more... but the facts have proven me wrong, evidently! :-)

No, because I have no intention of having my reviews discarded (which cost me time and energy) just because they are not "aligned" with the guidelines of this site.

Kosmo: unfortunately, my "strange and bizarre reviews" that I used to write don't find many supporters among the Debaser Editors... or am I wrong? :-)
