But I actually do NOT publish for Mondadori, I do NOT promote this review on YouTube, and NO one pays me. The review is NOT convoluted at all. In fact, I would dare to say it’s "boringly straightforward and clean"... besides, if you read the book carefully, there's much more about Daniele than Franco... Does Battiato still have something to prove, in your opinion?!

Iside, you can't deny that Battiato was one of the most original "singer-songwriters" of the Peninsula who tackled esoteric and spiritual themes FIRST (and perhaps uniquely) since the times of unawareness... whether he then tried to go overboard (as a director he is terrible to me!) is another story... and now don’t refer me to the usual tirade about the superiority of Fausto Rossi and so on and so forth.

The book is NOT bad. It’s a small thing for those who have been dealing with these topics for a while. It can be interesting for those who are new to it and want to get a general idea. It can be annoying for those who fall into the third category of people who couldn’t care less about these things. To put it bluntly, Alia76, you must be in the third category... right? .-)
