Ah, one last thing... do you think that various bands like Babyshambles, The Strokes, White Stripes are not a throwback to the 90s version of... "rockstars who love to destroy their lives"... it’s all the same story, it’s all the same sauce, but they want us to see it from another perspective... well, I’m not falling for it... keep holding on tight to the old CDs... because stuff like that won’t be seen anymore.

Jim Morrison, I want to point out that the Arctic Monkeys are not just a popularity stunt... the press did hype them up, yes, but only later! It's a carefree album, an album from twenty-something English guys, damn it, who have been playing for 3/4 years. Of course, it's nothing transcendental! Listen to it for what it is and don't compare it to the Doors or the Stooges... They have grit to spare, and if they’re roses, they will bloom; if not, that’s fine too! :-)

The truth lies in the middle, right, Litrigol. I find that britpop is constantly evolving rather than stagnant. Every band brings a bit of their own style, and every year, in the end, something good comes out, just look at Bloc Party last year, for example.

Look, if a group is successful on MySpace, it's solely due to word of mouth. What does it matter who bought it?? I believe it’s Murdoch’s anyway.. I know he set some limits, obscuring a few posts, but anyone can put up whatever music they want ^_^
