Joss Stone The Soul Sessions
Voto:
well... well... why is it that every phenomenon that sells (Norah Jones in this case) is always multiplied in series by record labels? ...$$$... however, beautiful voice, and great covers.

Wait to hear the rest then.
Red Hot Chili Peppers One Hot Minute

a great album, unjustly disparaged by critics who have no ears to hear.

well... aside from the magnificent screen, the initial buttercup, and at best nadine and good news, ... it doesn't really seem like a great album. Better than the last one, even though it has lower peaks. Shame is not a complete album.
Pearl Jam No Code
Voto:
True: with Long Road and I Got Id (which are from the same period), this would be the best Pearl Jam album... and certainly this is the last great record (apart from a few tracks from the next one, Yield) by Pearl Jam. You should allow half ratings... for me this deserves 4 and 1/2.
Afghan Whigs Congregation

yes, with hard rock...
Soundgarden Ultramega OK
Voto:
well, punk rock is really out of place for a Soundgarden album
Jeff Buckley & Gary Lucas Songs To No One 1991-1992
Voto:
No, I don't agree... terrible album. It would have been better if it hadn't been released... and I won't go into why, it seems clear to me,... even from a musical perspective, which is also of poor quality.
Incubus A Crow Left Of The Murder...
Voto:
The bassist from before, Lance, was definitely better. Here the guitar takes the lead, but I’d say it’s an album whose melodies are a bit unfocused. And above all, these songs don't frighten anyone (nor is it the intention of the Incubus): the distortions are lighter than those on Melissa Auf Der Maur’s album, let alone. As for the DJ, I wonder what use he is: he's practically useless. Incubus will always write catchy little tunes, but never masterpieces.
