Interesting report, outside the box, this really piques my curiosity described like this. Well done.

@Fidia: I understand your frustration about the atrocities, and how when you say you're from Naples, they immediately joke about your ability to screw over the next person, the "munnezza," the brick in the car radio box bought on the street, etc. I know a thing or two about stereotypes. By the way, I also lived a long time in Calabria, where, on the other hand, there’s the stereotype that everyone is an ignorant farmer, that all the girls are ugly and don’t shave, that they'll shoot you with a lupara, and similar nonsense. Things that perhaps had a grain of truth in certain situations and events, but to talk only about that, or to be known only for that, would be like saying that in the north there's only fog, smog, and "lavurà," when in reality it’s not like that.

Indeed, it’s not that the Metallica aren’t playing in this album. They are definitely there, but in my opinion, this does not belong to the official discography as it’s not listed anywhere that I know of, so your fear was unfounded from this point of view. Bootlegs like these exist by the dozens, printed on CDs, on the internet, or even things that are hard to find in Italy. The cover is really disgusting made like this...

Exactly, you also understood the essence of my outburst, and sometimes I am surprised by my friends who have remained stuck, complaining that there are no jobs, but without doing anything to improve their situation. Work doesn't fall from the sky, nor does it grow on trees; employment is created, and I have been fortunate to meet people who have created jobs for themselves here in Naples, through their efforts, and over time they've been able to afford the luxury of hiring others and giving them work to do.

I'm sorry to intrude, but this topic resonates with me since I am also from the South. I gave a 5 to KrY and I'm leaving it that way, because I liked the review and I believe I grasped its spirit. Feeling sorry for ourselves is pointless, and I agree with those who hold this view; moreover, I don't like this general impression of the South. However, one aspect needs to be highlighted, and I was inspired by a post from Fidia above. Why do all your friends work in the North? By choice or necessity? If it's the former, my comment ends here, but if it's the latter, there must be a reason why we are all forced to emigrate, and it's certainly not trivial, considering that everyone deserves to live in their place of origin (unless they choose differently). I am fortunate to work in the South, let's say where I've always lived, but not exactly. There are many people, including all my colleagues, who roll up their sleeves every morning and get to work. There are problems, and if I were to lose this job in the sector I’m in, I am aware that I would have to leave at least for Rome... By the way, all the clients of my company are practically from the North, except for one... who knows why it has to be this way. PS. This is not a polemic against your respectable ideas, but rather a form of venting. Bye.

Well, this cover isn't that horrible; there are much worse ones, in the tacky sense of the term. The album is a bit lackluster; you’re right about the copy and paste.

Good, I always appreciate your reviews. At first glance, I thought "damn, another review of Negramaro...", but then I read it, and I found your objective/critical point of view interesting without excess, analyzing the socio-musical context of the band and their background. I would also give the album a 3 like you, maybe a maximum of 3.5 (a respectable score) since it's not really my genre, but I've listened to it more than once because some friends always play it, and when I'm with others I can't isolate my ears from what they're listening to.

Well, it’s not like the album is that great, the genre is too overexposed by now. I agree with what you’re saying, but the review is very bare and, thinking about it, maybe you couldn’t really say anything more than this. Nice nickname you’ve chosen.
