Talking Heads Remain In Light

I don't know the album, nor am I an expert in painting, but the review is commendable in its intent.

Well... the poetic attempt isn't exactly successful. I downloaded the album after reading Stefano's beautiful review, but even today I haven't found "5" minutes to listen to it.

The Italian scene is incredibly important, guys, it features unexpected groups. Still talking about death, I also suggest Memories of a Lost Soul, Animestesia, Zora, Traumagain... there’s something for everyone, from melodic Swedish to technical and brutal death.

Of course you have an imagination to spare when it comes to choosing records to review...

Dear Fidia, I understood that you didn't invent the term, but I'm amazed by the labels that critics put on it...

I had been waiting for your return as a de-reviewer for a long time :-) As always, it's admirable and interesting; this album might intrigue me, given the comparison you make with the early U2 and The Cure. "neowave"?! I had never heard this term, who? Franz Ferdinand, and what would neowave mean compared to new wave? Don't neo and new indicate the same thing? And then, compared to the giants of the 80s, I believe that bands like FF are worth very little in comparison.

You know that I always support you, but this time I wasn't impressed. I won't go into explanations to avoid making a lengthy post... no hard feelings, see you at the next TRUE brutal review.

A carefully crafted and passionate review, it shows. You've piqued my curiosity, but since Meshuggah hasn't really won me over with their sound, I doubt the album could appeal to me. A good suggestion nonetheless.

...yeah, sure, but don’t get carried away, for fuck’s sake.

I don't think this is the Metallica album to blame, because it still contains great tracks, far from the splendor (and thrash) of the past, make no mistake, but always at a certain level. The real decline will come with the subsequent albums, even if this can be considered a slight misstep. I see it more as a renewal, which, by the way, happens to all great bands; even staying stuck on the same things can be harmful, take it or leave it...
