MetaliuM Millennium Metal: Chapter One

Honestly, I agree with what you say at the end "...not proposing anything truly special except for excellent technical mastery," but deep down not so much, compared to other groups. I heard something back then (1999/2000) when they burst onto the scene with this and the following "state ot triumph," but aside from the metal rides that pumped me up in my youth, I never found anything special about them, and today I just see them as immensely kitschy. Let's say that if you don't know them, you're not missing out.

Dear death, you also write well, without a doubt, and your analyses are very well-crafted. But, how can one listen to a band that peddles incest?!

Beautiful review, Fidia. Your suggestions always intrigue me, and after reading the comments from others as well, I have no choice but to listen to the album :-) ...best regards

I would lay a veil of pity over that cover... or maybe, I just don't understand anything about art...

I've listened to this album more than once because some colleagues always played it in the office. A mortal us, the only song I liked the most, also due to shared tastes, was the one with Kirk Hammett from Metallica.

Yes, I agree on this, it's certainly not the most striking thing at first glance; it can be perceived from small details. However, it’s an element that fits well, otherwise they would have been 100% clones :-) so it's better this way. My rating shouldn’t be misleading; 3/5 is quite respectable, as I mentioned above. PS thank you for the "connoisseur," let's say I prefer to define myself more as an admirer of the genre :-)
