Ozzy Osbourne-Randy Rhoads Tribute

I don't see that Rhandy wrote the tracks on Bark at the Moon anywhere, or at least he doesn't appear as a songwriter. As for Just Say Ozzy, I don't have any evidence for what you say about Gillis...

Even jettojet speaks well, and from his latest post, it’s clear he has a complete understanding of the domain we are discussing. I would say there’s no need to tussle over pedestals/humility/pride and similar nonsense. Each of us has expressed our opinion, and in my view, I have found valid points in all the comments, highlighting one aspect or another, but not so far removed from others' views. Cheers.

I was pleased to notice that in your opinions you remembered the historical periods in which these guitarists lived; there is nothing more fundamental for expressing an opinion on the matter. For years, I struggled with morons telling me that Malmsteen was better than Hendrix. Sure, it might be acceptable from certain points of view, but when Jimi, half high, was playing his white Strat, Yngwie was still having his diapers changed, so... That was just a side note; here we are talking about Zakk and Randy, and on that matter, I have already expressed what I think, and I cannot help but agree with your thoughts about it as well.

I accepted Vinsex's invitation and came to this page. First of all, I wanted to say that I missed this review; otherwise, I wouldn't have missed the appointment on 15/2. Who knows what the hell I was doing that day... Anyway, let's get to the point: you all spoke the absolute truth about Zakk and Randy and their guitar styles. Randy vs Zakk?! I wouldn't know how to choose; as a guitarist, I've "loved" both equally. Maybe I prefer Randy a bit more since he came first and was a sort of pioneer compared to Zakk, along with the guitarists of that time. X Dreamwarrior: the fact that Malmsteen saved Zakk means little to me; Yngwie is a fucking megalomaniac who considers himself "three and a half dicks" superior to everyone else, so... referring to what Visex said in the review where you talked a lot about the Rhoads myth, I'll conclude by saying (still on the topic of guitarists) that "death makes you immortal," as J. Hendrix said, and as I wrote in my review on DeB of "Band of Gypsys." Bye.

Dear josi_, your last post intrigues me more than the entire review (albeit brief) because you say: "...that I have concluded my personal research in Music." This is an important and weighty statement, more than everything you've written above, as it gives the record incredible value. Of course, the preference for one genre of music over another is still decisive in each of our musical explorations, but at this point I’m happy for you that you've reached the peak (or at least until proven otherwise :)) and I only hope (but I have no doubts) that you will continue to search, always discovering new fascinating aspects, which is what every passionate music lover should do (I hope at least the De-Recensori are!). Best regards.
