Sorry for the delay, I'm adding a post to this forum to tell the reviewer that I fully agree with what they say. Very intrigued by the good publicity the band enjoys, I got this album but was rather disappointed as I didn't hear anything special. Did I accidentally pick the wrong CD?

in I Cum Blood: "My cum is bleeding / The smell of decomposition / Penetrates from her genital cavity." and in Hammer Smashed Face: "Brutality is now my desire / Violence is now a way of life / The bat is my instrument of torture / When it strikes your forehead." They enjoy a hell of a time, just imagine how beautiful it must be to hear them sing in their own language.

The album is beautiful, and anyone with even a slight understanding of music knows this, without needing to read an "alternative version" of a review.

I think it's a completely different genre.

do you really think Finland is underrated? come on, we in Italy call that "Manie di protagonismo", I haven't been to Finland yet, but my ex-girlfriend was Finnish and I know enough, with all those Stratovarius, COB, Ajattara, Sonata Arctica (I even took photos with Kakko) and all sorts of stuff, here in Italy, you metalheads are seen just fine. it's you who feels "out of place". and if "Fabbiu" makes you laugh, I find the name "Toni Kakko" or "Timo Kotipelto" pretty funny too. what do you have in your brain, those fucking wooden clogs?

In my opinion, the most pathetic one is you. I listened to Burzum, simply went on the forum, and left a comment. I said what I think, and if you're Finnish, who cares? It has less to do with the fact that, as you say, "you need to know" about music. I don't think you need to know a thing to have an opinion, and mine, I reiterate, is that Burzum is liked for what it is and for what it has done, not so much objectively for its music, which isn't pleasant to listen to since it’s a mix of shitty notes dragged on indefinitely and reminds me of when I used to turn on the keyboard as a kid and had fun making a bunch of silly chords.
That it has some hidden ideologies in its (again: shitty) music is another story; Hitler also had his ideologies, but if he had written some shitty poems, do you think they would have been liked by all the fascists??? Then the imbecile who commented the most on the forum was you; you posted a total of 10 times, I mean 10, and you wrote a load of adolescent bullshit that only someone with nothing to do all day could read. Frankly, I can't be bothered, and stick those asterisks up your ass. I too am anti-Christian and repudiate Catholicism, but that doesn’t seem like a good reason to say that this music is beautiful; I admire Amon Amarth and Bathory a hundred thousand times more than some idiot behind bars playing the keyboard. It’s true that in Italy there is no death penalty, but for assholes like that, they'd shove the permission to play the keyboard and drums right up their asses. Regards from Italy.

Anyway, I listened to the whole album again, I read the review several times, and one thing keeps coming to my mind. I'm specifically referring to Ernio's comment that says: "of course you guys understand nothing about music!!! This album is black metal in its purest and deepest form".... well, honestly, I can't grasp the meaning of "Rundgang um die transzendentale Saule der Singularita," it's a full 25 minutes of 4 repeated keyboard notes that lead to eternal boredom. What expressiveness is it supposed to convey? I can somewhat understand the pagan ideologies, just like the fact that even today in Norway there are people offended by Christianity, but I still believe—and no one will change my mind—that if this album had been made by a group of guys who have never committed a murder, no one would care about them.

In every review of Burzum, where someone expresses their opinion, which is that it actually sucks, there must always be the defending lawyers responding: "What the hell are you talking about, Burzum is a poet, he expresses feelings of Norse philosophies... and blah blah blah... the pagans, the Vikings... etc." Yes, but for once let's be objective... he may be a philosopher, he may have his own style (personally, I can't stand the fact that it's 2014 when other people who have committed involuntary manslaughter get life sentences), but this album (I just finished listening to it) is anything but beautiful. I'm sure I could create something similar; after all, there’s really nothing particularly special about it, and the reviewer is perfectly right when he says: "The average is one riff per song repeated endlessly with some variations, and it also sounds like it was made by a two-year-old with a Fisher-Price keyboard".... sure, I can't deny that Burzum's songs represent a "cold and dark" atmosphere much more than other bands, but it makes me think he's famous more for what he has done than for what he has played.

Jack, the problem is another one; I'm afraid Villo has mistaken this site for a chat rather than a discussion forum,... and he's stating it very explicitly.

And NU-METAL is the metal aimed at teenagers, young girls, MTV fans, in short, at adolescents in all their forms.
