Let’s say they are not nu-metal... they are post-grunge, as someone pointed out. Nu-metal includes Korn (especially those on Issues), those big kids Linkin Park, those choir boys P.O.D., and all those other pseudo-alternative crap that came out after the debut of John Davis & Co (among the few I save in the genre). Creed are the commercial version of Pearl Jam; songs like My Sacrifice, the second time you hear them you already know them by heart... they sound like déjà vu! More than plagiarism, though, I would stick to talking about a poverty of ideas.

Well... I like power metal just as much as waking up at 6:30 in the morning (especially on a Sunday). So my judgment can't be objective. Certainly, I repeat, Rhapsody is one of the few Italian metal bands known abroad. Of course, I too would prefer to be represented by a raw and brutal group like Cannibal Corpse; they have technique and are less commercial than these.

the review is spot-on and super funny. I totally agree that they are annoying and that they are not a band (if they were, they wouldn't change lineup with every album). I couldn't believe that their concerts featured "overweight strippers" until I downloaded a live performance and was laughing my ass off..
