Hello to all metalheads and non-metalheads, finally, after a long time, here I am again... to pound your ears with an absolutely devastating CD. This time I will try not to be too repetitive and paranoid...(ha ha ha). It's time to review a top-notch album by Decapitated, in my opinion one of the most powerful death metal bands of the last millennium.
The year is 2000, the four Polish guys average 18 years of age and manage to deliver a beastly album!!!
From every point of view, a technically stunning CD, characterized by a powerful and impeccable production (Ereache), just enough to make you jump out of your chair!!! It starts with the title track "Winds of Creation" and already these guys let you know they're serious; Vitek delivers rhythms with double pedal at an unbelievable speed, accompanied by the almost impossible and wickedly brutal riffs of Vogg (his solos remind me a lot of Trey Ahzathoth's), together with Martin's bass, they form a war machine capable of destroying everything... all this with the grotesque growl of Sauron is genius!!!! Then we move on to "The First Damned," "The Eyes of Horus," and try listening to the cover of Mandatory Suicide by Slayer (frightening).
A (nearly) perfect album in the wake of a cutting-edge and incredibly modern Brutal death metal...
I recommend this album to all lovers of the genre and anyone who needs to wreck their cervical with headbanging!!! (of course I also recommend it to those who listen to Coltrane).
Are you sure perfection doesn't exist??? Think again...
From Poland with "anger," Decapitated!!!
