Clap Your Hands Say Yeah Some Loud Thunder
Voto:
This album, aside from the voice which has "gotten worse" compared to before, is more whiny perhaps, even if the tone has remained almost the same. Musically, however, this has nothing to do with the previous one... Or to put it all together, I can summarize it like this: Someone gave CYHSY a more powerful amplifier, a tab of acid, and a collection of vinyl records from 1960s American psychedelic bands!!!

Well done, targetsky... you got a group I don’t know... what can I say: DOWNLOAD/LISTEN/I’LL LET YOU KNOW IF YOU GOT IT RIGHT ;)

@ Psychopompe: watched the video. I wasn't disappointed. I confirm: never heard them! As for the voice, I say it resembles Ounsworth’s at times (they even have the same smug face, if you want), but Byrne’s is slightly more in tune and graceful.

First, I would like to make a plea to the editors to change the name to CLAP YOUR HANDS SAY YEAH, because the AND doesn’t fit. Thank you!
So, Psychopompe... the Black Lips were an example I used to describe the low sound quality in some of the tracks. But don't worry ;) I'm not as destructive as they are! I unfortunately don't know David Byrne, but culturally speaking, I know he was in the Talking Heads and that he now enjoys (or used to enjoy, I don’t know) being a solo artist, but I've never had the pleasure of listening to either him or the Talking Heads!
Anyway, I’ll give you some advice... if you liked that but not too much, and knowing your musical tastes (based on the reviews you write), I think you will quite like this album. Just give it a try, and then let me know. Bye!

@ kid a : Then I'll let you know and maybe I'll review it myself, if someone else doesn't do it first ;)
@ Ghemison : And stop being annoying! Enough! Who cares about Danger Mouse? Maybe the album didn't turn out completely right especially because the mixing was done poorly!
@ Psychopompe : I haven't listened to the new Shins yet, but I will soon, the first one and chutes too narrow left me speechless ;) (in a positive way)

Well, I liked the first of clap your hands, maybe not right away, because it's hard to get used to Alec O.'s voice. But I'm counting on this second one. I haven't listened to anything at all. So it will be a surprise. Thanks for the warnings, but sometimes I like to take risks.

Nice review, good album. A bit repetitive and boring at times, but it's quite decent! You don't hear music like this very often lately.
Oh, they are on tour with the Black Keys! You get what I'm saying!
Well, yeah, the latest from the "chiavi nere" is terrible... Rubber Factory was 100 times better!

Well, today I'm going to Fnac to see if they have it... but I found it on E-mule a long time ago without any issues! Let's hope to find it. By now, the record stores in my city no longer satisfy me; they sell all too commercial stuff, and rarely do you find "the exclusive." Fingers crossed!

Good review. I've heard of No man "Dry Cleaning Ray", an interesting work but honestly not really an album I listen to all the time! I will try out of curiosity to find this Flowermouth... who knows, maybe I'll like it!
