Ride Today Forever
Voto:
a minimum of five stars!!!
And damn it... I don't have it... I even have Smile by Ride!!! But damn it... I need to get it ASAP! by any means (emule...?)
The Ride are amazing... an underrated and unknown band here in Italy!!!
Poor Andy Bell who plays the little bassist behind the scenes in Oasis... anyway, the best compositions by Oasis in the last few years are all his: A Quick Peep, Turn Up the Sun (immense)... Great Ride, well done to the reviewer.

You know Grant, I initially underestimated this album. The other night I was studying for an exam I have on June 14. I was doing some summaries. I put it on as background music, it was 2 AM. Well, it kept me company without being annoying. Maybe before that listen I would’ve given it a 3, you know… Who cares if they sold out to pop on this album anyway... if it’s done well on their part, they have my full approval! For example, Lifeblood, which I listened to last night, has always disgusted me since 2004, since it came out, let’s say! Well, everyone makes missteps. Oh, I almost forgot. Grant is back with a bang! Go Grant!

This is not the "1" of someone who has never listened to the album... no, I’ve listened to it alright. I don’t like it at all. I could write a review about it, but there are already 2, if I’m not mistaken.
That doesn’t mean the reviewer isn’t a good writer. Well done.
Travis Bickle, weren’t you the one driving cabs? :P ;)

Here you see Sylvian... you know how to write and you discover beautiful unknown bands...!
Speaking of Welsh... lately I've been enjoying listening to Welsh stuff: Manics, Gorky's, and SFA, along with their solo artists: Gruff Rhys & Euros Child...
As for the Moose issue... I’m still searching and hoping to find them somewhere here in Italy, but it's useless... I guess I'll have to, sooner or later, order them online... spending a nice little sum of money...
The problem is that I’m not very skilled (mind you: I’m actually an IT expert) and I absolutely don't trust it! Ugh...
Anyway...
Congrats again ;)

Well, I want to reward you; you write well and the review makes the listening appealing... I downloaded it a while ago and I've never felt like listening to it. I'll give it a try anyway and let you know my rating on the album... good job anyway.

This review I wanted to write, damn it :P But my bad because I don't have the time to go to the store and buy the album!
Grant let's leave it like this...I won't rate either the review or the CD because I still need to listen to baby 81. The review is well written, but I still have to see if you’re telling the truth or not :D
I have all three albums by B.r.m.c.
Initially I didn't like the first one, but then I grew to appreciate it more and more. My favorite remains take them on, even though I’m a BRIT boy, thus a calm drunk, I loved that album because it's dirty and mean, you could say. The third one, well I even wrote a review for it, which truth be told, if I read it again I realize that a couple of years ago I really didn't know how to write. Now I manage a bit better ;P But anyway I still feel the same way. Howl didn't strike me that much except for a few episodes.
As usual, I go on for too long. And anyway, you'll hear from me Grant, you can bet on it!
Now I’m going back to study…bye

@ Targetsky: I shouldn't even respond to you; I completely agree with what you say!
@ Grant: "This is my truth" I also consider a good album ;) but it might also be the album of the resurgence, just not here in Italy... in my opinion.
@ (!) and N.B.II.O well guys, to each their own...

So guys...
@ ZannaB: "Anyway, it's the cover of 'Working Class Hero' by the late Lennon, a guy I've never really liked, to be honest. I had never heard of the song or listened to it, but oh! It might be a bad song by Lennon, but I like the way the Manics play it!" I know I can be rather convoluted as a reviewer. But my intention was to say that I don't like Lennon at all and the song might be bad—I've said it "might be," not that it is—but I like it when the Manics do it. I wanted to imply, somewhat discreetly, that maybe if I listened to Lennon's version, I could end up liking that too. That's all. Then my response, I believe you noticed, was completely ironic and referred to the fact that if you don't like that I don't like Lennon, then that's fine. Everyone is free to express themselves, both me with my tastes and you with your votes. That's it ;)

Yeah, Lennon sucks. And I only like Sgt. Pepper's, the White Album, and Abbey Road from the Beatles. And if this costs me the "GOOD GRADES" they want to give me... well... who cares! :)
