Bebel Gilberto Tanto Tempo Remixes
Voto:
True, Giorgio, I had already mentioned Cazuza back then! :)) I recommend once again that everyone listen to "Eu Preciso Dizer Que Te Amo," in duet with Bebel, and the wonderful acoustic guitar of Dé (who also participated in "Tanto Tempo"). "Eu Preciso" is, in my opinion, one of the most touching love songs of all time. With that "spoken" introduction that makes you feel like you’re right there, listening to it, with the woman you love. And Cazuza's hoarse voice duetting with Bebel's airy and celestial voice... What a masterpiece, guys!

Great Bebel!! Although I might prefer the original "Tanto Tempo" to this remix. Perhaps it's that there's less saudade here, as the review rightly conveys :)) Well done, giorgioladisa, for also remembering the late Suba. I take this opportunity to mention Cazuza, another great of Brazilian music, author of "Mais Feliz." Hello everyone, JoP. PS I won't rate the review because I'm in evident conflict of interest, considering I wrote the other one! :))

Hi a.c., how are you? This review is beautiful too; it captures a moment of life and changing, vivid art. Because - as we know - everything flows. Especially in the hands of an artist, and even in a span of time as short as 24 hours. But don’t you ever come to Pavia, Alessandra?! I would really enjoy hearing CMDLA live! See you soon, JoP. PS Anyway, I also agree with Enea's comment :))

I just wanted to thank all of you, from the bottom of my heart, dear friends who have commented on this page. This is a review of an album that I am truly connected to, in my heart, deeply. I had also heard Haden and Barron live at Umbria Jazz, and it was an indescribable emotion. I particularly remember Haden's monumental entrance in "For Heaven's Sake"! It really is an emotion that cannot be expressed to read that editorial-poem that is "Canto per Te" (it had already impressed me on Sunday, and now it is a great joy to see it again, especially after today, a wonderful day for me). A wonderful gift, truly, for a unique moment I am experiencing, a melting pot of passion, poetry, fear, gazes, of "thorns stuck between heart and mind" (right, odradek?), of joy, but above all of life. An intense, childlike, carefree life amidst thoughts. Life lived under a burning and immense sun and love, unique, revitalizing. A warm greeting to all, and thanks everybody, JoP

I discovered it recently and I've been listening to it a lot these days, Hayden. I like it, I really like it. A voice now broken, shattered, fragile, now mature, hoarse, and dark. Truly an excellent recommendation, Donjunio.

How can one not fully subscribe to odradek and gabbox? And then I'm now bound to CMDLA for so many reasons :)) The review, by the way, is beautiful. And may the spirit enjoy as much as and as well as the body, that's also a great truth. And even more beautiful and important for the soul than for the body. Hello everyone, JoP

Not much to add. Except for my complete ignorance on the subject and – at this point – so much curiosity. Congratulations to Aristarco (I missed it back then...) and to the always dear rocchetto. Saludos, JoP
