Unfortunately, I wasn't there, but it must have certainly been an unforgettable concert...

Whether he retracted it or came up with an even bigger lie, I'll leave that to you to decide.
Iron Maiden The Number Of The Beast

Indeed, that branch of rock rooted in blues that ideally starts with the Rolling Stones and continues with all those you've mentioned is not really my favorite... perhaps I'm a bit of an idealist, but these are my tastes.

What can I say, after reading such a heartfelt review it breaks my heart to give this record a 1, truly.
But it's what I think and tastes are tastes.

"I present to you the worst album that the decade-long Manchester band has ever released." But why? Have there been any "better" albums?

I am convinced that the months from '79 to '80 were nearly defining years for the genre; there was a rush for synthesizers following the huge success of Tubeway Army and the subsequent explosion of record releases. Anyway, I didn't want to spark a debate ;-). I will take your suggestions to heart; if an album is good, it's good regardless of its release year. In fact, even before our conversation, I had already added the Fad Gadget album from '84 that you reviewed to my list (and you piqued my interest by mentioning D.a.f., one of my all-time favorite bands).
Prodigy Experience
Voto:
Like all rave groups, the Prodigy excelled on singles, so it's inevitable that an album like this has its ups and downs. In my opinion, "Hyperspeed," "Jericho," "Charly," "Weather Experience," and "Out of Space" are the best tracks. On the other hand, the Woody Woodpecker version of "Everybody In The Place" is disappointing, as the video version was much better. I must say that tracks like "Fire," "Your Love," and "Ruff in the Jungle Bizness" are pure garbage, and the remaining ones aren't much better. A three pulled out of thin air, mostly for what this album represents for the early '90s rave scene. A brief review that says little about the music.

If it's those Calling, they would have done better to name the album "I".....

The Cure Mixed Up

Well done fmjews! I think the same as you, the last three albums by the Cure are not exceptional, but if the best tracks were selected, it would result in a masterpiece album of at least a dozen tracks worthy of "Disintegration". By the way, you mentioned more or less the tracks that I also consider the best: we have the same tastes!
