Great album, even better than the more acclaimed "Ha! Ha! HA!" in my opinion, if only for the title track which is my absolute favorite synth-pop song. My rating doesn't go beyond 3 and a half, though.

A must that I miss, even though I have the very first material reissued in the compilation "Kalte Sterne" plus four of their other albums. Aside from the anguish of living in industrial society, they have always made me think that their intent is to recover the connection with the earth, identity, tribalism, the sense of belonging that the suited white man of contemporary society, a prisoner of material progress, has lost. Perhaps that’s why their symbol is a graffiti, reminiscent of the existence of a European man who still possessed the aforementioned characteristics. At least, that’s my interpretation.

"When it was released, it was considered to have a disruptive originality, a film out of the ordinary. If someone who has never seen it watches it again today (even though only a few years have passed), it has much less of an impact on them" - Paolos. And in fact, I saw it for the first time four or five years ago, and it left me with very little effect.

"a technically perfect film" and you give it one? But come on, what do you give to a crap like "Tomb Raider" or "The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen" then, a -5?

"Fascist soldiers"? I saw it a long time ago but it didn't seem like it to me. Could it be that my grandfather was a fascist just because he fought with the Italian army?

Biographical films have never been my preference: boring, excessively long, with an uneven pace (for an hour nothing happens and then in 30 seconds there's a leap of years), many negligible details, and a poor ability to summarize. After all, condensing a life into a film is not easy. Nevertheless, this film is well made, though the initial fight scenes tend to make you smile (you can tell the punches stop a good span away from the target). Another credit to this film is that it has clearly inspired some scenes in "Tokio Fist," one of my favorite movies.

I didn't like it. The best ideas (the inverted chronological order, the brilliant and somewhat surreal dialogues) were already used in "Le Iene" (which I consider better), while the rest I find rather lacking: three or four inconclusive stories about the underworld, caricatured characters (but perhaps for some this is a positive aspect), and an excessive duration for what the film had to say. I must admit I got a bit bored. And now, excuse me, I'm off to watch "Milano Odia: La Polizia Non Può Sparare," an innovative film.

A truly great film, timeless and not boring at all despite its length. I also recommend watching it in the original language with subtitles. The battle scenes are excellent, highlighting the strategic aspect when today's cinema feeds us mostly glorified frontal clashes. The characterizations are masterful. The word "Masterpiece" fits perfectly in this case.
