ah, Sing For Submarine is anything but a copy of their past production! There are many more references to their past lyrics. It's the most complex song on the album, and in my opinion, the most beautiful.

Anyway, guys, don't worry, the 14th album by R.E.M. will be a revelation... trust me...
And anyway, I'll wrap it up with this: Radiohead with their last "Hail" and with this "In Rainbows" seem to me like the R.E.M. of today that you're all complaining about... I won't say more... (not, like, after only 10 years instead of 27...). I repeat, I am a fan of Radiohead... and of R.E.M. (but that was clear...).
