I'm not saying you have to love everything about a band. You just can't afford to spout nonsense about an album that is filled with pain. Many fans were left perplexed by this album due to its rock nature, which is undoubtedly influenced by grunge, that's true. But this album is really "sexy," as Stipe used to say. I mean, it deserves to be treated a bit better and not so lightly and shamelessly.

It's nice that they recorded it by recreating a live atmosphere. It's beautiful how Michael writes through the use of pronouns and the ever-present "I." And just because it's really based on sex (which is not the only theme, as I mentioned) doesn't mean it can be satirized. Sure, you can do anything, but it doesn't seem like the right place for it.
