Carmen Consoli Confusa e felice
Voto:
I can't handle it, it's just too much for me. She may be talented, but I find her singing style cacophonous, and I'm not even a fan of vocal virtuosos...

Over time, I've learned to have entirely personal opinions, disregarding what is commonly thought: I reaffirm that the best album by Dire Straits is On Every Street...bye.

If they weren't irreparably all the same, I would agree with you; BIA and CE, on the other hand, can at least be distinguished by their originality: CE is and remains their best album.

I agree with the reviewer, the album is nice, but nothing compared to the mastery expressed by ours in the last two albums with the DS.

Hi Gianluca, who by the way has the same name as me and a surname from my area... I read your review carefully. I find the first sentence too convoluted and self-referential: I also prefer impactful beginnings but more concise and straightforward. Everything else is very good, in some cases sublime. Perhaps by elaborating on the second part and limiting the introduction, you would have written an amazing review. As for "la bellezza riunita," while it is a piece at stratospheric levels, I find it among the worst of the 90s, along with "la metro," etc... Regards.

Meanwhile, you have also expressed judgments, a universal one ("we are all insignificant," but it would have been better to say stupid, because no one is insignificant in themselves) and another specific one (the 3 you give to the review and the 5 you give to the album).
Robbie Williams Intensive Care
Voto:
Of this album, I've only listened to the first two singles, which I find quite nice; however, it seems to me that the trend of the moment is to go after the "poor" Williams, who, whether he likes it or not, is currently the biggest popstar around.
Umberto Bindi Bindi
Voto:
It's right to remember Bindi, just as it is right to remember any talented but forgotten author, especially if they are Italian. However, I find it a bit difficult to recognize Tenco and Bindi as the beacons of Italian pop music, at least from the last thirty years, that is. I believe that Bindi, like Tenco, simply expressed the best of his art regarding a certain music from the 60s, overshadowed by the revolution brought about in the entire musical landscape by various Beatles, Battisti, etc. etc. For example, I believe that Modugno was far ahead of them, and I would certainly see him as a better beacon.
Pink Floyd Atom Heart Mother
Voto:
I give a 5 for the effort put in and for the style, which is quite good; a 3 instead for the insistence on details that perhaps should be left to the listening experience, resulting in an average of 4. The album is beautiful, but for someone like me who considers only TDSOTM and TW as masterpieces, a 5 feels exaggerated.
