What you need is objectivity... and you have very little of it.

Listen, dear friend, beyond the nonsense (Solieri with one 'l'), a concert by Vasco Rossi has always been an exhilarating experience, and when you buy a record, you always listen to well-played music. Whether there’s an ambiguous character behind it is frankly irrelevant. Even Elvis had managers behind him guiding him; that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t still call him the king of rock...

But yes, it's true that the newbie who grew up during the Ligabue era can easily confuse him with Vasco Rossi and think they are one and the same... those of us who are old enough to have witnessed the last great Rossi, the one from Fronte del Palco, know well that for decades he has certainly been among the greatest live performers in Europe and a catalyst for the best musicians around... so let's not confuse Ligabue and Poggipollini with Vasco and Solieri, as we're on two different planets.

let's say I agree on everything and nothing, the album doesn't live up to "c'è chi dice no," which remains, in my humble opinion, unmatched. It contains some less successful tracks, among which certainly isn't "l'uomo che hai di fronte," which I've always adored. Of course, to silence the ridiculously ignorant critics of Vasco (who has his flaws, but not the one of writing bad songs), the masterpieces "stupendo" and "vivere" are enough, as they alone are worth the price of the CD...the review is dispassionate and superficial.

Look, I would already be very happy if the editors put it among the recommended ones, but it's a vain hope since they have never recommended one to me!

To write something original about the great bands, choosing a single that is significant enough has remained the last option, barring compilations and bootlegs. This review is my tribute to Queen; sure, I would have preferred to review an album, but I don't like to duplicate without being worthy of what has already been written.
