great review, really well written, the five for the album is not convinced but comes from the love for Battiato, which the reviewer surely shares, like me

The Works, along with Innuendo and A Night At The Opera, is a very thoughtful album, in which Queen put in significant production effort. However, unlike the other two, it falls short by trying a bit too hard to please the listener, thus aligning more closely with the rest of the band's output.

this is a special song, like many of the tracks from Innuendo, I understand it might not be to your liking, but let's say it has a bit of a story of its own because of the atmosphere that permeates it, the muffled sounds and the delirious lyrics, maybe in a few years you’ll appreciate it more... if 87 stands for your birth year!
