Sure... if you start with Michael Jackson, you’re kind of asking for it!

they really suck... a continuous suck. they picked up right where they left off... in other words, the most stinking shit... ahahahahaha... I’m pissing myself laughing while I think it’s time to sell myself the records of these fucking arrivistes... ___________ ___________ ___________ ___________ ___________ ___________ ___________ ___________ ___________ ___________ ___________ _ well, I’ll leave some lines of decency between your vulgarities and what I write. Let’s just say I’ve never expressed myself towards any record or music group in these terms. The reason I've already explained, and it’s pointless to repeat myself.

let's be clear, one can say that Mellon Collie isn't liked but still recognize the effort put into it and the undeniable beauty of some songs... but labeling it as musical trash is indeed trashy... then those who want to understand, understand; certain music made at certain levels cannot be completely snubbed. It's like saying you hate a piece of bread, a piece of bread that might feed a poor soul. Respect is needed, especially for artists, and the Smashing Pumpkins have been artists.

First of all, I talked about knowing and listening, not understanding. It was likely that to label as crap what I consider masterpieces, you hadn't actually listened to them. Instead, you confirm that you have also matured them. Good. So let me give you an example: out of the entire rock scene, choosing among the great bands, let's say that if there’s one band I can't stand, it's R.E.M. But I don't know why, I would never dream of dismissing excellent albums like Automatic for the People and Green as crap. This is because I still have a glimmer of objectivity and a sense of beauty. Probably what you're lacking is one of these two things, or maybe both. But reading the reviews you've written and the albums that are their subject, I strongly lean towards the second. Regards.

I have to listen to it again... I hope for the best... certainly, reading comments here and there from characters like mike76, allessioIRIDE, and a few others, one can't help but wonder from which enchanted PlayStation world they come... the work of the Smashing Pumpkins during the '90s was superb and frankly, to talk like crap about masterpieces like Adore and Mellon Collie seems at least stupid, or at most, like those who speak without knowing and without listening.

you don't say outrageous nonsense...but with the PF, we need to keep our feet on the ground...the album doesn't conclude anything in a worthy manner. A The Wall would have concluded it fittingly...The Division Bell is, as you say, an hour of absolutely enjoyable and professional music, but the PF remain much more...

I've never understood why R.E.M. are counted among the greatest of all time... Anyway, even if they were, this album is miles away from their best work... What would you give Automatic for the People, 10 stars?
