The book is truly terrible. It relies on an overexposure of negative emotions and lacks any logical thread other than guilt; not to mention a series of worn-out situations.
I haven't seen the film, but I'm not surprised it turned out poorly. However, the music in the trailer is nice, it has that '70s vibe.

It has just been released by ET, but I haven't read it yet.
A nice choice, very recent, and it addresses a little-known topic.
However, I don't fully agree on the issue of colonialist ancestors, who are certainly guilty of the intensive exploitation of many African states, the deportation, and the death of many Africans, but it doesn't depend on them that an ethnic war broke out in Nigeria following a coup. Neither directly nor indirectly. To clarify, if there was a choice to wash the ethnic tensions in blood due to internal feuds.
Well, different points of view: I definitely don't want to minimize the damage caused by colonialism.
Anyway, great review.

What nonsense. What’s the point of comparing Bach with Hendrix? Come on, seriously, Silvaplana, explain it to me. It’s like comparing Neoclassicism with Impressionism. Does it make sense?
And yet, even though they have different rules, it's art in both cases. Silva, do something more useful than nitpicking Queen or other bands.

Yes, okay, the review reflects the multifaceted style that serves as an introduction to the book, and which appears later on, along with all the various notes and sub-sub notes that are shamelessly Wallace-like. But you nailed the key points!
However, the book, what timing, I gifted it to a friend on Thursday, is not worth five stars.
No one is stopping you from praising it, but you could have been more original; but in the end, I understand you!
How annoying these things are!
