No, a clarification is needed: Bjork as a child recorded an album titled "Bjork Gudmundsdottir" at 12 years old, in 1977. Then she joined some Icelandic punk-new wave bands (Tappi Tikkarras and Kukl) in the early '80s. In 1986, she co-founded the Sugarcubes and in 1990, an impromptu foray into jazz.

It's an extremely hard-to-find record, sometimes it’s even not mentioned in Bjork's discographies. I stumbled upon it purely by chance in a shopping mall in Milan. Money well spent. It's beautiful.
