I don't agree with those who criticize the "track by track" approach; it might be heavy for someone already familiar with the album, but for those who aren’t and want to get an idea of it, it can be helpful. I've read many reviews where there's very little discussion of the songs (something I’ve done myself in some cases), and in the comments, there's always someone complaining about it.

For me, Joshua is right about almost everything, but I kind of liked the album. Let's be clear, it’s not up to the level of Bowie’s best albums, but basically, this is better than some of the crap that came out during those years ("Rio" by Duran Duran? Bah...).
