The Rolling Stones Love You Live
Voto:
Well-written review, but I don't quite agree about the quality of the live performance, which I think is good even though you can feel both the absence of Keith Richards at certain moments and a Ronnie Wood who is perhaps not yet completely in tune with the rest of the band.
Pink Floyd The Division Bell
Voto:
For me, this is a good album. Obviously, it doesn't add anything to the history of Pink Floyd, but at the very least it's a more than dignified farewell (yes, a farewell, because that stuff that came out twenty years later doesn't exist for me).
Paul McCartney Flowers In The Dirt
Voto:
In the mid-1980s, several old rock veterans fell into a "shadow zone" that led them down paths that were not particularly successful from a compositional and artistic standpoint. A "shadow zone" from which most of them eventually recovered towards the end of that decade. Paul McCartney was no exception, and with this excellent album, written in collaboration with Elvis Costello, he clearly climbed back up.
Paul McCartney Give My Regards To Broad Street
Voto:
Album probably released due to contractual obligations. The only redeemable track is "No more lonely nights" and some of the Fab Four's takes.
Roberto Benigni Johnny Stecchino
Voto:
For me, the last decent Benigni, after that I can save a little something from "Il mostro", then that's it, I couldn't stand him anymore.
Enzo Jannacci Discogreve
Voto:
I like the album, especially since I understood its real motivations. Of course, there's an enormous difference between "Giovane pazza" and "Cosa portavi bella ragazza," but I like the song even in its desperate state.
Premiata Forneria Marconi Come Ti Va In Riva Alla Città
Voto:
A very good album with some great songs, especially "Come ti va" and "Quartiere Otto".
John Fogerty Eye of the Zombie
Voto:
I agree with his solo albums, but I would give my blood to write a song like "The old man down the road" (which is not on this album).
Lucio Dalla Viaggi organizzati
Voto:
I have always been fond of this album. Not just for "Washington," but also for the imaginative lyrics throughout the whole record. My favorite is "Aquila."
Calvin Russell A Crack in Time

Finally, someone who remembers him, Calvin Russell!
