I'm glad that this album is still appreciated even after all these years. I would say it's one of the few of its kind to endure. This review is a debt owed to two artists who helped create a musical phenomenon. Moreover, it's a small tribute in the vast sea of reviews about the idolized Daft Punk. P.S.: I listened to the reissued album with the bonus CD, but I believe those additional tracks are almost insignificant, and they tire me out in the long run.

Good review, it fills a void on DeB. I agree with previous comments, there’s no need to confront the ignorance of most regarding this album. And the hint of competition with Massive Attack is irrelevant. Both have contributed to giving us beautiful compositions. Let’s not weigh them against each other, please.

Regarding Mr. Howard Bernstein's best album, for me it's a tough competition between SNATCH and FOLK. I don't use the word genius for him because someone might take offense ;) but we are at elite levels just like the other aforementioned "turntablists."

Spooky has been to Italy several times. The friends at IOD take him around different parts of Europe with stops in Italy. Among other things, he's a delightful and ever-helpful person. The last gig was at the Leopolda station in Florence, during Pitti Immagine in June 2005. A performance duo with Howie B, another crazy character like the street.

Exactly, Mr. Zion. Right now I'm traveling in the orbit of half an hour of real audio free on the Spooky/Sakamoto set website, and I just stumbled upon a beat that was so solid, restrained, and prolonged that I was almost levitating in the air.

Look Mr. Nobody, you've read my mind, actually I've already done it and sent it. It's a dj mix. And now I pass the ball to the good Zion who has the embarrassment of choice. Optometry, Riddim Warfare, and the whole gang.

If you want to delve into the artist in question, I recommend taking a look at his website where you'll also find daring live experiments with artists like Sakamoto. The discography is vast and plentiful. On the DJ mix side, I recommend "under the influence," while "optometry" is ideal for appreciating his talents as an innovator. On the website, you can also find some of his essays written for magazines and books, such as his award-winning "Rhythm Science."

I don't know the group, but the film mentioned "Il viaggio di Felicia" I do. It’s a masterpiece. I would say elegantly chilling rather than crepuscular. If the album is in those tones, it deserves more than one listen.

Dear Monsieur Sfascia, I do not know your place of belonging and I have no doubt that you have reached a state of collapse there. Here, in Reggio Emilia, there are still glimmers of hope and commitment to contain the aforementioned collapse. Weak signs of reversal, muted whimpers of timid optimism from which to absorb all the possible strength to react to the state of affairs. A hug of encouragement ;-)

I love all this excitement about electronics and experimentalism. I posted my preferences on the Kosmo forum regarding this field. I’m waiting for yours.
x Mr Nobody: if I understood correctly, you have two personalities on DeB? I believe you have a soft spot for Plaid; they’re geniuses. Come on, let us read something about them, so you can get back in the game.
