Moondog The German Years 1977-1999

Having listened to some samples and done a bit of research out of curiosity about the character. Really interesting. "Bird's Lament," sampled by Mr. Scruff, has made his fortune along with his label Ninja Tune. If they've got a little villa by the sea, they owe it to him, given that the track has been overplayed in the advertising world. The Cohen brothers themselves chose it for the OST of their hit The Big Lebowski. In short, it deserves much more than just a listen. What do you say, Mr. Nob, shall we start with this one?

:) You see, it was about finding the real mermaid. About falling in love again. About a story. About a person. About their musical world. And about telling this love with the most beautiful words. Surprised, I thank you.

Well Alessandra, maybe we share the same tastes because we're almost the same age. And if you find the time, we look forward to having you back with more reviews since you write well too. For curious users, we could mention the (beautiful) music you've composed for an art installation that can be listened to online, but I can't remember the website address suggested privately by Odradek.

"Guys, what geniuses!" you're referring to Kraftwerk, right? Here, Daft Punk has scraped the barrel. Perhaps you’re missing some details about the genesis and development of the "robotic" sound.

Welcome Alessandra. My wish (of an affectionate nature) has come true. Very good, but how many albums have you made? Is it possible to find your discography online? Hello also to the reappeared Odradek.

Hello Einstein, this review was written in a rush, astounded by the beauty of the album. But if it conveys the idea, then the goal is achieved. Perhaps someone will enrich it with comments about this Norwegian composer who has been active for over 15 years, and co-responsible with Aphex Twin and The Orb for the creation of the so-called Space Ambient.

3 samples, 3 minutes out of 70 are few, but just to get an idea. These biospheric sounds should be enjoyed in Hi-Fi. Beware of the risk of blowing the subwoofers, as happened to me with the car system.

Well, what can I say Almateo. I did the same thing too. My tastes are quite eclectic as you can see from the reviews, but you've stumbled upon the musical artifact that means the most to me. And I'm glad you got into it too. Bye.

True, ALMATEO, Zen is something else, but I instinctively associated it because this musician has played on other occasions ancient Eastern instruments like the koto, the Armenian duduk, and the Balinese gamelan. I'm not an expert on Nordic jazz, but I recommend the avant-jazz trio SUPERSILENT, that is, the group of Arve.

Oh, sorry I got confused, for the previous post I was referring to HANGING GARDENS not this DRIVE which I actually couldn't find where I said, so I metaphorically withdraw the vote...
