Ramona Cordova The Boy Who Floated Freely

Lopsided and fascinating samples, even though I would be more interested in what the lyrics convey rather than following the sounds. Ramona is the name of a woman who ignited my senses for the span of a season.
Daddy G DJ Kicks

The primordial series of DJ Kicks has opened up a market and given even more value to the work of DJs. The risk is that they create CDs that quickly become outdated, so selectors often dig into the past (and often find overlooked classics) as is the case here. My favorite is the one by the great Carl Craig.

Maybe it's due to the long time away from the dancefloors, but Tiga has never intrigued me. In terms of genre and attitude, I think Jacques Lu Cont is still unattainable.

We got a large parking lot outside. When I organized a festival called "Soundclash" with my buddies, we had several acts lined up: Young Gods, Clock DVA, In The Nursery, and Nitzer Ebb as the opening act. They arrived in Castelfranco with two trucks. When they realized that they couldn't use all their gear (but half of it would have been more than enough), they just turned around and went home without saying a word. Ever since then, just hearing their name gives me a fit of bile. Anyway, assholes, but musically interesting.
Jamie Saft Trio Astaroth - Book Of Angels Vol. 1

Less baroque and more rhythmic writing, ideal for enticing us to listen to this umpteenth album from the acclaimed crew.

More than a review, it's a fragment, splendid, of literature made to imagine sounds.

I like the analysis on the cover that, in this case, anticipates the musician's perspective. Beautiful.

Emotive cities, pieces like moods. RF is a sensitive and generous musician (he also runs or used to run a label). I've listened to little of this "turn" to the East and something didn't convince me, even though we're on a high level. I also recommend the two previous ones; I'm fond of the first one, INTERNO.
