Open mind, really?!? That would truly be the best, I didn't even dare to hope for it... is there any source? Oh my gosh, what a spectacle!

Are you serious??? Look at this mess, when there are no official lyrics... which one will be the correct one? And to think I even already printed them... :-/

Very beautiful review

For me, the album is phenomenal, referring only to the first 7 tracks because I still have to digest the second part. Vicarious and Jambi are beautifully intense, with the latter being less immediate than the former; then the Wings, which I think are fantastic, really engaging, Maynard's voice fits perfectly, conveying a great sense of suffering. The Pot restores the rhythm, it soars, and again I really like Maynard's voice here (especially the vocal line "Now you're weeping shades of chosen indigo, got lemon juice up in your --eye--"). For now, I’m completely satisfied.

Well, in the end, reading the definition, it seems to me that virtuosismo is not absolutely negative, but it can nevertheless degenerate and fall into "bad taste." Now, for me, Vivaldi doesn’t fall into that, but with these "at-risk" musicians (classical and otherwise), I've always been cautious.

In light of this, when I write "to amaze with his excellent technique (read virtuosity)," it does not seem ridiculous to me (see meaning 2).

No, I thought you had a slightly hostile tone, nothing serious. Anyway, to clarify things, from the encyclopedic dictionary: VIRTUOSISM: n. 1) Technical perfection of an artist, especially a musician or singer 2) (fig., derog.) Unrequested display of one’s technical skill, flaunted by artists or athletes to gain applause 3) (fig.) Extreme skill in overcoming difficulties of every kind.

Reason tells me: "Of course, this one cares more about impressing with his excellent technique (read virtuosity) than about sharing, I don't know, his intimate feelings with me. Ah, but you can't fool me (and sometimes not even the sol re)! And, instead, you can fool me, that's why I like it. Are you upset with me, Marco?
