Interesting, I know Oceanic and Panopticon [beautiful], but I still have to listen to In The Absence... After that, I'll check this one out; I'm intrigued by the prog influences and the fact that it mentions Tool and Mastodon. At the risk of being repetitive, quoting Michoos What, I also assert that Turner’s voice is mediocre.

And it may seem ridiculous, but I quote in turn The Punisher and Brat12: the circle is closing.

Oh my god, the song is HORRENDOUS, boring, tired, trivial, Labrie's voice is crap, Portnoy's drums are ridiculous (there's no need to do the double kick roll to liven up a dull 4/4, you can make a convinced face but you don’t even believe it yourself), pure 100% laxative. They’re even headlining at Gods of Metal, crap.

Feminism?!? Whores? To me, you've got it all wrong. She is everything but transgressive; she is simply human.

P.S.: The only flaw that really got to me is Dailor's drumming... More suffocated than usual by the guitars, it's really a shame.

I finally heard it, and I must say that the sound has softened A LOT; at times, I even struggled to see the word "metal" in it. The voice doesn’t snarl, and the explosive impact of Leviathan is but a memory. Yet the album is beautiful, truly. It’s beautiful because it’s different from the previous ones, because the melodies are incredibly precise, the references unassailable (the 70s mellotron at the beginning of The Czar is fantastic). In short, if you’re looking for blind fury, look elsewhere; if you want to listen to a GOOD ALBUM, you won’t regret it.

"Sadness" a big cock. The girl writes really well (and I mean really: stuff that you, commenter and aspiring reviewer, probably wouldn't even grasp in 50 years), and talks about a topic - sex - that remains a taboo in its more complex, less obvious facets. As if that weren't enough, everything is treated with a funny and carefree style, yet at the same time very mature (and I mean very: stuff that you, commenter and aspiring lover, probably wouldn't even grasp in 50 years). Want proof? Read, for example, "Dimensioni del cazzo" here -> link rotto

At first, I saw it too, but then I realized that by the end of the broadcast I had just seen people screaming and hadn’t gotten anywhere; AnnoZero is a step up (thanks to the significant presence of Travaglio), but I don't like Santoro and his aggressive style of hosting. The true winners are definitely the immense Report and Iacona's PresaDiretta.

to me it seems more like a scream than a growl (at least in ITP)

Well, the review has quite a few inconsistencies. Firstly, comparing Blink 182 to REM is terrible (not that I'm a fan of REM), and anyway, you use their appearance in The Simpsons as a measure of value. Then you describe Battery and Master of Puppets as "cheerful" (I mean, does the first solo of MoP sound cheerful to you?), and you greatly undervalue Leper Messiah. As if that weren't enough, you're talking about an album that's twenty years old, for which we already have nine reviews. That said, I mostly agree on The Thing That... and on the reflection of Giuda. Saludos
