Perhaps the album I listened to the most this year, despite very few listens. Presented this way, it seems like a bad thing, but it isn't. Quite the opposite.

Maronna the Big Party on a page of Master Psycho. How will my underwear withstand such delight?!?

Orcoddinci, I haven't seen this invasion of double-edges since 2007.

For someone like me who isn’t really into this genre at all, it’s a nice feeling. Thanks for the tip, PK!
Iced Earth Dystopia

Personally, I've never fully digested their stagnation. Up until Burnt Offerings, they produced excellent heavy-power-thrash. Night of the Stormrider, in particular, is a phenomenal album: dark, intense, inspired, and with a cover that made you want to have a six-legged steed to ride the storm. Then they decided to make this 90s power metal, all the same, with heartbreaking ballads and songs about 9/11 (embarrassing...). The curious thing is that alongside the musical impoverishment came a progressive decline in graphic quality: they went from the engravings of the Divine Comedy by Gustave Doré to covers drawn by Capullo that at first might have been amusing, but now are a bit laughable. The beauty of the early Iced Earth was their ability to evolve their sound: up until the first 3-4 albums, you really didn’t know what you would find. It’s as if at some point they got comfortable doing what was easiest for them and what brought them the most success, only to find themselves unable to renew and regain inspiration. Downcast Downcast

Hi dear, I removed the link to the Downcaste. Unfortunately, in the DeDatabase there is no page dedicated to the Downcast. Now it’s left without a link: if things go as I remember, in the next few days the supermegabrain that has a hold on our debaserian gonads should create a dedicated page for these rascals. If he doesn't, it'll be serious trouble. For us, but especially for him.

I don't know them, and I don't think they are exactly my cup of tea. However, you've intrigued me and I'm almost tempted to give it a try.

What a delightful little page! I’m pleased to notice that for certain albums, different nonsense pops up every time. For some bands, however, the nonsense is always the same. Even those who say it, when you think about it, are more or less always the same! :D
William Condon The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn - Parte 1

I, on the other hand, can’t wait to watch it! The first one was fairly harmless, the second already had plenty to chuckle about, and the third was sublime in how (more or less unintentionally) comedic it was: you could really see in certain scenes that the actors were trying hard not to burst out laughing (the memorable line: "But doesn't he have a shirt?!"). These movies are only terrible if you take them seriously (a bit like that idiot Ashanti, lost in the debaserian mists), but if you treat them as they deserve, they offer a lot of enjoyment. Red Riding Hood: Blood and Gore is awful: the premise could have been nice, but they exploited it terribly. They made a grotesque mess, especially regarding the little love stories among the protagonists (just utterly pointless: it was supposed to be a gutting affair, and they ended up with some nonsense straight out of a telenovela). They should have stopped with the Pirates of the Carob. Instead, it turned into the usual American drivel about squeezing an idea or a format unrealistically until it’s completely ruined. Usually, this happens with TV series (Lost is the most obvious case, but there are countless examples), but for a few years now, they’ve also been doing it with movies (see the Saw saga or the aforementioned Final Destination).

You've made me want to listen to the album. Which, lately, is almost miraculous. Hooray psaico!
