Fine Before You Came Ormai

I also saw them last time at Magnolia (though I believe it was MiAmi, not MiOdi... :) by the way: are you coming to see the Mastodon on Thursday?! Shall we meet?) and I liked them a lot, essentially because of an "empathy" thing: they played pretty badly, but the more I watched them, the more it seemed they were having a blast along with those making noise under the stage, and I really would have liked to be there in their place. And that says a lot to me. Regarding the proposal: I haven’t heard it yet, but I know Sfortuna by heart and some of the doubts I read in the review are also mine. They have really effective melodies, sometimes a bit sugary, but rarely cloying. Instrumentally, I like them because they manage to do quite a bit with little. I like the vocals and they make me want to shout. The lyrics - in my opinion - are among the most embarrassing ever heard. They don’t even have the excuse of nonsense: they really suck. Probably all the hype they carry after Sfortuna isn’t entirely justified, but - as far as I'm concerned - better them than many beasts that are around.

A few weeks ago, I was in the rehearsal room and I found an ad for this album in a magazine. So I said out loud: "Who the hell are these guys?!?!". And the guy sitting next to me replied: "To be honest, it's my band...". What a story if they become famous! Varese is already the new Cuneo (yeeeeeeessssssss...........)

Seen in the cinema a few millennia ago. To be honest, I remember it as a real eye candy, with a few pseudo-philosophical Eastern musings sprinkled here and there to give a semblance of "cultured" to a film full of beatings. However, a lot of time has passed, and I might be misremembering. On the other hand, over the weekend I saw I Saw The Devil (which, coincidentally, is Korean...) and I liked it quite a bit.

If the second sentence is not written using a machine translator, then - Damn the god - it is among the most beautiful things I have ever read on these pages.

Very well written. I like the fact that it talks about extreme music, but without the typical "stay brutal" tones of the genre. A few years ago, the topic of "extreme right in lyrics" caused quite a stir in the excellent mementomori: I hope you don't encounter the same madness! And anyway, looking at the cover, I would have expected them to be more on the extreme left. Probably the bolts distracted me from the sticks...

Geenoo, as usual you haven't understood a thing. But how is it possible that you can never grasp anything that happens around you?!? It's as if life for you were a massive "Connect the dots" puzzle from a puzzle magazine and someone had stolen all your pens when you were in diapers.

I have to admit that in a couple of scenes it got me a bit flustered. And, in my opinion, the attempt to squeeze (as you say) the mockumentary subgenre is, in some ways, a success: it may not be a revolution, but at least there’s an effort not so much to reinvent it, but at least to give some additional interesting profiles to something that has become stale and trivial. What really bothers me is the entire internet spectacle that was crafted specifically before the film’s release (forums, websites, blogs created by the production just to lend a semblance of authenticity to the events in the film). I get that we all have to make a living, but still...

Oh my God, I don't really think it has "gone unnoticed," but maybe I'm wrong.

Saw it last night. Two things I really didn't like: 1) the translation. Above all, when the verb to fight (meant as "to argue") is translated as "scazzare." 2) the use of songs. Above all, when, in that scene - quote from The Freewheelin', the part "Love will Tear Us Apart."
