The fact that "pupazzo" rhymes with "cazzo" is probably just a fortunate coincidence.
John Cameron Mitchell How To Talk To Girls At Parties

Quite some time ago, I started watching it, mainly because I was intrigued by the title and the fact that Gaiman was in the background (a writer I used to love a lot and stalk in every performance, but whom I now find excessively verbose, and I’m frankly tired of running into him even at the bakery where he goes on about how cool the mythology of the Sumerian tribe that canoed from Cormano in 2000 B.C. was...). I was saying: I started watching it, but I got interrupted about 1/3 of the way through (basically at the party inside the villa) and never picked it up again. I don’t know... it’s not like I remember it being particularly thrilling. Visually intriguing, but a bit, I don’t know how to put it, “weirdo at all costs.” If I ever give it another shot, it’ll be thanks to you.

On one hand, it's okay because you're talking about a movie that otherwise would never have made it to these pages. On the other... My experience with debasio has turned me into a spacing Nazi: as soon as I see a space before a comma, I get a black nail on my big toe. But I guess that's more my problem. The really important things: there are a couple of sentences that seemed a bit nonsensical to me, and in general, I think you haven't quite managed to hide the fact that it’s an absolutely ridiculous film. Just kidding, of course. Send them my way, because in these times of confinement we need recommendations. Bye bye.

Very well done indeed. You perfectly captured the essence of this album and, above all, you framed it very well in terms of its musical and temporal context. I confess that I have never fully appreciated it. In truth, it has everything: there are the riffs, a hint of spectral epicness like Cirith Ungol, acid sounds... yet it feels like it's lacking a bit of impact in some passages, and in the end, listening to the entire album feels arduous. Taken individually, however, there are objectively standout tracks that deserved greater success at the time of release. Personally, I have always considered the pinnacle of their production to be the subsequent Night of the Stormrider, which perhaps sounds a bit more cohesive and mature in terms of composition.

Oh, it's all good, I understand that back then we were all buddies and we all loved Terry to bits, but this review honestly wasn't exactly a masterpiece. Anyway, the book has a cool cover and since I’ll have some extra time, I think I might give it a thought.
Stanley Kubrick 2001: Odissea Nello Spazio

Damn, on CasaPagina two reviews of Led Zeppelin and a revolutionary pamphlet on 2001... Years go by, but this site remains the worst place to find chicks on the entire internet. Look, women really get turned off by Kubrick. If you have some vague ambition for penetration that goes beyond your aunt's vacuum cleaner, the only situation in which you’re allowed to utter the word "Zarathustra" is during an Olympic session of cunnilingus where you've run out of moves and the only thing left is to whip out those high school memories. For everything else, you’ll make a better impression if you quote that guy whose name I can never remember, the one who takes songs by De Gregori and sings them poorly, but then he raps over them so hard that everyone says he's amazing... Cosentino, Gelsomino, I can never remember, anyway, we get each other.

Mamma mia, what a hairy and sweaty chest they have. Objectively, they could have come out this morning just like 50 years ago. They probably get boring after a handful of listens, because they really don't have anything distinctive, they last half an hour and, if you look closely, they have no spark whatsoever, but they have a grind...

It seems that starting tomorrow I will be in the red zone. Just know that if it really goes that way, I’ll set up on the site and I'll drive you crazy like in the old days.
