...of course, I meant that as an ironic comment!!.. it would be too much for me to judge what you do or don't do with your time! :D! Hi!

Dave, you’re a phenomenon!!..never seen anyone with so much free time!!:DDDDD!!..too bad that, considering all the "1s" you hand out, a good part of this time is spent listening to a lot of music you don’t like!!:DD!! The tones are a bit too enthusiastic, but it’s well written. I don’t know this album much, but I have a few albums by Fabi and I can say that he’s not bad, not a genius, but musically he’s definitely well-prepared (@Dave: especially harmonically, some passages are very well thought out, the same goes for the arrangements. If you haven’t noticed, you might not understand music as well as you think. Or you’re so barricaded behind your preconceptions that you refuse to see it). Personally, I don’t mind the lyrics at all, much less pretentious and showy than other "calibers" (thinking of Consoli and Zampaglione) who are rated much higher. Hello everyone!!

Well done Cico Felipe!!..you hit the nail on the head! In fact, this review is intentionally overly enthusiastic: the album, personally, deserved a simple "4", if nothing else due to the awful production (which I didn't even mention...). But then I thought: 1) that the band deserves it 2) that they've been too unlucky 3) that on this site everyone is so caught up in arguing whether Iron have evolved with their latest album or not, or whether SOAD have sold out or not, etc. etc., that certain albums and bands never get discussed. So what the heck!! I had promised myself not to write reviews for metal albums anymore, at least for a while... but in these weeks, the vibe of the site has been disheartening!! So I told myself: let’s do an over-the-top review for a band I like, since nobody will care anyway! A different story when it comes to Nadsokor: I repeat, for me it’s among the ten most beautiful metal songs of all time!! Bye!!

If I'm not mistaken, last week (around five hundred reviews ago, that is..) I asked you to stop reviewing duplicates and various nonsense and to try to offer something interesting to the site and its users: I regret to notice that this is probably beyond your capabilities. I also read on your personal profile that you claim to have a "reasonable knowledge of rock music".. thank you for pointing that out: I don’t think anyone had noticed. Best regards.

Damn!!! It was about time!!!!.. welcome back!!.. by the way, I really liked the review, also because it reflects a bit of my feelings after listening to the Editors (and anyway, I don’t think "The Back Room" is that bad..). P.S.:.. do they really say "machesterini"?!? Hi and again, congratulations + welcome back as a reviewer!

...exactly. I partially agree (not entirely, but for the most part) with Lethe's comment. I would like to emphasize the influence of Diamond Head and, more generally, the NWOBHM (rather than Motorhead specifically), along with a bit of hardcore. In short, if we really want to talk about thrash, then we are looking at a primordial thrash, bastardized by a series of influences that I would say are practically undeniable. The raw and stripped-down thrash, in my opinion, can be found much more in Ride the Lightning; just listen to the riff and vocal lines of "Fight Fire...".

Matt7, I think this time it's you who said the bullshit: Kill'em All by the first three has the least to do with raw and unfiltered thrash.. I didn't understand the last part of your comment: I'm curious..

..mmm.. yes, I would say I agree with Aniel: you’re doing it on purpose now. I can't believe there are people in the world who only know these four damn albums..

I believe that defining Purgatory as "a piece in the norm" is a sign of intellectual dishonesty. Another thing, and I intend to repeat this message to everyone who reviews a Maiden album in the coming months (who knows, maybe someone will come to their senses..): do you listen to Heavy Metal?!? Great!.. well, there are HUNDREDS of albums in this genre that haven't been reviewed on debaser yet, beautiful and little known to the "general public." Months ago, I reviewed "Open The Gates" by Manilla Road, an exceptional album by a historic band completely absent from these pages. I thought/hope I would kick off a kind of "rediscovery".. and instead, nothing: since then at least 20 reviews of Maiden and not a single one of Manilla. The same goes for dozens of other bands: I'm thinking of Cirith Ungol, Metal Church... Christ, this site practically lacks all of the NWOBHM!!! Is it possible that you don't know other albums?!? Is it possible that your musical culture is so limited?!? Damn!! When I was into metal, it was a competition to see who could discover the most obscure band.. is it possible that Iron, Dream Theater, or SOAD, or whoever the hell you like, are enough for you to consider yourselves connoisseurs of a genre?!? Bye.
