@Poletti: Wow, you're so exaggerated! :DDD! Listening to you makes it sound like Kabul! It's a polluted, dirty, and degraded city just like all the metropolises that welcome millions of people! Let's just say it has its fair share of advantages. Among the more trivial and frivolous: there are facilities and places of all kinds, to go to any kind of concert most of the time you just have to take the subway or go to the Forum, there's the European oncology center (where people come from all over Italy.. for me it was a great advantage not having to take the ferry to have my mother operated on..) and well-equipped hospitals, public services are there too, but the number of users who visit the city daily is still unmanageable. A lot of money circulates, when I was at university I never had a hard time finding odd jobs.. In short: it might not be Cape Verde, but it’s definitely not the Bronx!! Bye!

Reviewing certain films is a task more than daunting. In this case, the simple difficulty almost gives way to impossibility. Just adequately addressing all the philosophical-existential twists and quotes in the film would require a couple of reviews. Some have even seen the film as the meeting point between the thoughts of Descartes and Nietzsche (the name Deckard clearly evokes Descartes, Pris at one point utters the famous phrase "Cogito, ergo sum," in Roy's final monologue, he quotes Nietzsche, perfection as the ultimate goal of human existence... etc etc etc), and so much more. And then there’s the cinematography, the set designs, the music, the dialogues… in short, it’s really too much to fit into a single Debaserian page dedicated to the film. Cheers!
